Looking for a game...

Hey there,

I just got Visionaire and I am looking for inspiration. Well, really I have inspiration already, but not the time.
Yet, I am searching for a game much like Gabriel Knight 3, or something similar to Still Life. I need some adventure
games for a change, eventhough I do not play much at all. What is the latest, most awesome game fitting into my needs, you think?

Syberia 1 and 2? Its the only game series I still keep on my system and often look at it for ideas, mainly how scenes graphics were done.
More modern I don't really know, the missus plays a lot of the hidden object games, these are getting more and more like adventure games, a new one called The Stroke of Midnight has breathtaking graphics wise, some really cool scene transitions (I'm really sad and look at the glitz lol)

Oh yeah, Syberia, that was a long time ago. I remember it to be a great game. But I thought trying out Alan Wake, if it is for PC. Any ideas about that? (Haven't got a single clue of the gameplay) What style is it, isn't it a bit adventurous and horror like? Looks good to me, though. Still if anyone have any other ideas, let them pop!

EDIT: Just realized it is for Xbox360 only.
